Ganga Krishna Educational and Rural Development Trust (R) was founded in 2018–19 by a group of committed young professionals and social workers with a shared vision to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities across Karnataka.
For over 8 years, we have been actively working towards the holistic development of women and children in rural areas through social, educational, and skill development initiatives. Under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, we have established three training centres and provided vocational skill training to nearly 5,000 beneficiaries.

Free vocational training under PM Vishwakarma — 300 women in tailoring, 50 in beauty parlour, carpentry, barbering & floristry. Trainees receive certification, toolkits, and ₹1 lakh bank-linked assistance.
Knowledge programs for school children, SBI financial & digital literacy camps, and educational support for government schools in border and rural areas.
SHG formation, capacity building, and marketing support. Workshops in partnership with Rotary Club Bangalore and the National Rural Livelihood Mission.
Free book distribution, meal plate distribution, free computer education, and summer programs — "Raja with Maja" and "Summer Learning Fun" — with personality development activities.
Medical screening, student health check-ups, maternal and child health awareness, and anemia prevention programs for rural families.
In partnership with BearingPoint India, we provide furniture and essential supplies to government Kannada schools — and establish skill development centres in rural areas.
Public celebrations of great leaders' birth anniversaries, awareness programs for women and children, cultural camps, and recognition of unsung achievers in various fields.

Promoting Menstrual Hygiene Management & Anemia Prevention among Adolescent Girls and Women
Menstrual hygiene and anemia remain serious public health concerns in rural Karnataka. Limited awareness, cultural taboos, poor nutrition, and restricted access to sanitary products affect thousands of adolescent girls and women across 65 villages in Hosadurga Taluk.
